The spruce bark beetle delights the locals once again this year!

The annual Vasa goat rises in Vasa square this year again, to the delight of all city residents! The goat is being built for the fifth time at Vasa’s Christmas opening on 26.11.2016, sponsored by Visit Vasa. 

The spruce goat was first erected in 2012 on Aveo’s lot in Vikinga. Since then, the goat has been a guest in Seinäjoki until it settled at Vasa square. The goat originated from the idea of being able to do big things with small resources and strong will, which is still relevant today as it was five years ago. The goat has grown over the years and is now 6 meters high, but it has also been joined by a younger baby goat. Together with the baby goat, you can photograph yourself or your child during the Christmas opening!
