Balcony and terrace - close to nature, green and concrete

In the spring and summer, we enjoy staying home on the balcony and terrace. We furnish it naturally, comfortably, and cozily - with furniture made of wood and concrete, soft cushions and blankets, comfy hammocks, and many green plants and flowers.

This year we are staying home and enjoying warm spring evenings and nice summer days outdoors. Now is the time to spruce up the balcony and terrace to increase comfort. Here are some tips!

From Bloomingville comes the comfortable furniture series Sole, with bohemian wooden furniture that creates a relaxed atmosphere.

The Sole series also includes several other outdoor furniture - which can just as well be used indoors. The Sole series is made of bamboo and is best kept under a roof. When exposed to moisture and dirt, they become gray over time.

Here is a selection of other furniture in natural materials:

From Ferm Living comes the Desert series with comfortable recliners and practical stools and folding chairs. The Desert series is wonderfully relaxed and made for lazy summer days.

Desert Lounge Chair

The comfortable Desert Lounge Chair and Desert Stool are available with black or beige metal frames, and with different patterned or solid-colored fabrics. What makes this series special is that the fabrics are made from recycled plastic bottles. The production of one lounge chair requires 53 PET bottles.

For those who like concrete, House Doctor's Stone and Out tables are available.

The concrete tables are durable and minimalist, creating a nice contrast to natural materials and lush flowers and plants. They are great for gathering around for a drink or a refreshing glass of juice.

We move on to flower boxes, pots, and vases:

Plant Box Round  and Plant Box Two-Tier in the color Olive

The color of the year for Ferm Living's popular plant boxes is olive. A fine, olive green color that blends into the surroundings. The plant boxes work just as well outdoors as indoors and are versatile. Read more about the popular plant box here.

The Bau series with balcony box and flower pots has come out in a beige color, cashmere, this year. The Bau series is also available in black, dark green, and warm gray colors.

Pots and vases.

One can never have too many stylish pots and vases. Some of the examples above are better suited for indoors or an enclosed balcony than under the open sky.
