Traditional wallpaper paste
The wallpaper factory Pihlgren & Ritola traditional wallpaper paste is a powdered paste that is especially suitable for paper wallpapers. The paste is delivered as a powder and should be mixed with water about half a day before use. Packages are available in three different sizes:
200 g is enough for approximately 5 rolls of wallpapering
400 g is enough for approximately 10 rolls of wallpapering
800 g is enough for approximately 20 rolls of wallpapering
Description
Preparations: The surface should be clean, dry, even, solid, and have normal absorbency. Very porous surfaces should be primed before wallpapering.
Instructions: Mix the adhesive in cold water. Stir vigorously for about 30 seconds. Repeat stirring a few times. After 10 minutes, the paste is ready to use. Always use enough paste. Be careful not to get any wallpaper paste on the wallpaper surface, especially on dark wallpapers or silk wallpapers.
For non-woven wallpapers: Mix 1 packet of 200 g in 5 liters of water. Enough to wallpaper 3-5 rolls. The wallpaper paste is applied directly to the wall.
For thin paper wallpapers: Mix 1 packet of 200 g with 7 liters of water. Enough to wallpaper 7-10 rolls. Apply the paste to the paper wallpaper and immediately adhere it to the wall.
For heavy paper wallpapers: Mix 1 packet of 200 g in 5 liters of water. Enough to wallpaper 3-5 rolls. Apply the paste to the paper wallpaper. Let heavy and embossed wallpapers absorb the paste until they become soft before adhering them to the wall.
For vinyl wallpapers and washable paper wallpapers: Mix 1 packet of 200 g in 5.5 liters of water. Enough to wallpaper 5-7 rolls.
For embossed vinyl wallpapers, heavy embossed paper wallpapers, and polystyrene panels: Mix 1 packet of 200 g in 4 liters of water. Enough to wallpaper approximately 4 rolls.
