Ostrobothnian tray green
The green Österbotten tray has been inspired by our forests, by an old, healthy, and thriving spruce forest. The Österbotten tray is part of the Ostrobothnia series, Finnish design that draws its inspiration from the Ostrobothnian nature and the people living in the region. The tray has been designed by Sofie Staffans-Lytz.
Description
Colors for Us Ostrobothnians
The yellow tray represents the drive in us Ostrobothnians for progress and the “can-do attitude.”
The red tray is inspired by the red color of our traditional Ostrobothnian farmhouses. A true red tray.
The deep gray, stone gray tray stands for the stubbornness, fighting spirit, stability, and security found here.
The pink tray was created during the spring when the pink apple blossoms were in full bloom in Ostrobothnia. The pink tray is a romantic and calm element in our Ostrobothnia series. It was initially released in a limited edition but continues to be produced due to its great popularity and is now part of the standard assortment.
The green tray represents the forest - green fir trees - and the closeness to nature.
The blue tray, which is now discontinued, represented the proximity to the sea. The blue tray lifts the wooden boat present in all the trays and gives the swallows a blue sky to sail on.
The back of all trays comes with a clear statement about our belief, namely that Ostrobothnia is one of the best places on earth.
More about the motif
The barn swallows fly, apple blossoms, cloudberry leaves, and a wooden boat await their guests. All in a pleasantly accepting style. Just the way we like it here in Ostrobothnia.
